For over 56 years, the Kiwanis Club of Manotick has helped strengthen our community. While our focus is on youth, we support many non-profit initiatives to help provide a safe yet fertile environment for all ages.  We are part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Tuesday, January 17th:   Speaker to be Whit Fraser presenting The CBC and the North. Dinner to be stuffed trout/ pasta. Social at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm at the Manotick Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann Street, Manotick, ON.

                                             

Tuesday, February 7th: This is a Partners Night to celebrate Valentine's.  Michelle Van den Bosch will wow us with her Flower Arranging skills. Dinner to be roast beef. Social at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm at the Manotick Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann Street, Manotick, ON.

Tuesday, February 21st: Our own Greg "Flash" Newton will present a visual delight with Ottawa through Photography. Dinner to be chicken cacciatore. Social at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm at the Manotick Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann Street, Manotick, ON.

                                             

Tuesday, Mar 7th: *Partners Night* as we celebrate St. Patty's Day.  Entertainment to be announced.  Dinner to be Beef Stew. Social at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm at the Manotick Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann Street, Manotick, ON.

Tuesday, Mar 21st: The Army Cadets will be providing an update on their activities. Dinner to be Fried Chicken. Social at 6 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm at the Manotick Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann Street, Manotick, ON.

Your attendance at meetings is very important to the strength and health of our Club, please make every effort to be there!

 Senior's Bingo at Hyfield Place: will take place on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 6:45 pm.  Please contact Debbie Mulvihill if you can volunteer at this event.

 
Blood Donor Clinic - at Manotick United Church, 5567 Main St. Volunteers needed January 16, 2017 to cover 2 shifts from 1:30 to 6:30 pm.   Shifts: 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00pm - 3 volunteers needed at each shift.   Contact Claude Laperriere to volunteer.
 
Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast: Shiverfest 2017 Sat. Jan. 28 7 am – 11 am at the Manotick Arena all members welcome to lend a hand to Git’er done. Contact Debbie Mulvihill to volunteer.
 
Club Board Meeting will take place on Tuesday, Feb 14, 2017, at 7:00 pm, at Hyfield PlaceAll members are welcome to attend a Board meeting.
 
Senior's Bingo at Carleton Lodge:will take place on Wednesday, Feb 15, 2017 at 6:45 pm.  Please contact Debbie Mulvihill if you can volunteer at this event.

DCON 2017 WILL TAKE PLACE MAY 18 -20, 2017 IN OTTAWA DURING CANADA'S 150 YEARS SINCE CONFEDERATION CELEBRATIONS..  THE FIRST 200 REGISTRANTS WILL PAY A REDUCED REGISTRATION FEE.  GREAT FORUMS, GREAT SPEAKERS AND SUPER SOCIAL EVENTS.
